Life Enrichment Coordinator

Job Function: Full Time

Social & Recreational Activities/Life Enrichment

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Minimum Experience: 3- 5 Years or an equivalent combination of training and experience

Description: We are looking for someone who is energetic, creative, possesses a sense of humor and has a true  desire to help our over 55 independent population stay that way as long as they can.  In return, you will be joining one of the most respected, not to mention beautiful, senior living communities in Naperville.

Applicant must:

  • Have an understanding of the Independent Living population
  • Have the ability to engage residents to participate in programs while encouraging resident led activities
  • Be flexible and creative
  • Have a strong knowledge base of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Publisher and Power Point.
  • Have fundraising skills
  • Have a valid driver’s licenses

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop a monthly activity calendar as well as a weekly and monthly newsletter.
  • Coordinate the resident advisory board
  • Coordinate fundraising activities and maintain petty cash account
  • Coordinate and perform transportation services associated with planned activities
  • Assist the Executive Director with tours and the sales process when needed
  • Order supplies, utilize supplies without waste.
  • Maintain confidentiality of necessary information in compliance with HIPPA.
